Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

Prompt: When I was younger, my brother was playing video games with his friends, and I really wanted to join in. However, he didn’t want me to play, this made me feel jealous and left out. Because of that, I decided to stop talking to him for the rest of the day.

Summary: Today in class we read The Jealous Father a story passed down by Native Americans, and we started a group project based on that reading.

Reflection: Reading this story gave me a bigger insight into what Native American stories were like because this story was longer than any others we've read. Also, learning more about the cultural background of the story was very interesting.

Describe one thing that makes you different from other people.

 Prompt: One thing that makes me feel different is hanging out with family and friends. I also enjoy playing sports or other hobby's I have. But, it's always the best to get to hang out with some of the people who I know care about me. I find happiness in being with the people who love me and building more and more memories over time with these people is something that makes me feel different. Summary: I was absent but we did an identifying theme worksheet. Reflection: I learned how to identify better than I was before.
