 Prompt: Emily Dickinson used the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles, a metaphor I would use to describe my own mind is "My mind is like an ocean, sometimes it calm and clear and other times it is other times with waves of thoughts crashing through my ears. I think this metaphor describes my mind because sometimes I am thinking clearly and others I am very cluttered.

Summary: In class today we read Emily Dickinson poems and annotated them, then we drew what we think one of the poems is like.

Reflection: I learned more definitions of words when annotating.

 Prompt: One time I faced a risky situation was when I was learning to drive on a busy road. Cars were flying by, and I had to stay completely focused to avoid an accident. Describe one thing that makes you different from other people.

 Prompt: One thing that makes me feel different is hanging out with family and friends. I also enjoy playing sports or other hobby's I have. But, it's always the best to get to hang out with some of the people who I know care about me. I find happiness in being with the people who love me and building more and more memories over time with these people is something that makes me feel different. Summary: I was absent but we did an identifying theme worksheet. Reflection: I learned how to identify better than I was before.
