Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

 Prompt: A time someone’s words stuck with me was when my dad said, “Always double check your work carefully; small mistakes will upset you.” I had been careless on a math assignment and got a lower grade than I expected. Since then, I’ve been more careful and double-check my work before turning it in always.

Summary: Today in class we continued to write our argumentative paragraph on ambush.

Reflection: I got better at writing in formal language.

Describe one thing that makes you different from other people.

 Prompt: One thing that makes me feel different is hanging out with family and friends. I also enjoy playing sports or other hobby's I have. But, it's always the best to get to hang out with some of the people who I know care about me. I find happiness in being with the people who love me and building more and more memories over time with these people is something that makes me feel different. Summary: I was absent but we did an identifying theme worksheet. Reflection: I learned how to identify better than I was before.
