In the poem, the speaker and his neighbor meet each year to repair a wall. Describe a time when you had to set or respect a boundary with a friend, family member, or classmate. How did it help or hurt your connection with that person?

Prompt: A time I had to respect a boundary was when my friend wanted space after an argument. Even though I wanted to fix things right away, I gave them time to cool off. Waiting showed that I respected their feelings, and when we finally talked, it actually made our friendship stronger because they knew I cared about their comfort.

Summary: Today in class we went over some poetry.

Reflection: I learned of to annotate poetry better.
